Alpensia Sining Ceremony with Gangwon-do, Korea
The McKinley Consortium Group, a project management group of McKinley Holding(BVI)Ltd., approved the acquisition and development investment of Alpensia Resort in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, South Korea, the host city of the 2018 Winter Olympic, and established the McKinley International Ltd, a special purpose company in Hong Kong and signed an agreement for due diligence with Choi Moon-Soon, Governor of Gangwon Province. Eight companies, including China and Hong Kong, which covers a variety of projects including finance, resource development, information network, culture, and tourism business, city development, participated in the consortium.

McKinley International Ltd. will conclude the formal agreement after conducting due diligence on the Alpensia Resort from February to May 2020. McKinley Group expects Alpensia Resort to be reborn as a global sport and tourism complex city with its environmentally friendly smart development. Moreover, about 10,000 resort rooms, including recreational, sports, tourism, commercial, hotel, etc. and four-season water park that expands the existing water park will create an employment inducement effect for 150,000 people.
McKinley plans to invest an additional 1 trillion Korean won (USD 850,000,000) after taking over Alpensia. The theme park, with four seasons, sports parks, recreational facilities, and hotels, will be built on 4.6 million square meters of land by 2030.
“Alpensia is a very attractive place,” said Jason Kim, chairman of the McKinley Consortium Group, and he expressed confidence in the development of Alpensia by saying that “The Korean government, including Gangwon Province, has already spent a great deal of money on advertising around the world through hosting Winter Olympics.”

Alpensia Project Description
Alpensia project will be based on existing facilities for the 2018 Winter Olympics and will be developed into a four seasons sports theme park. In addition, High-technologies such as 4d/ VR/ AR will be developed in connection with the theme parks and residential areas at a tremendous speed rate of 5G and the existing employees will be fostered as global talent boasting world-class service quality through systematic service education by McKinley Consortium.
Both McKinley Consortium Group and Gangwon Province Government will do their best for the success of the project and the McKinley Consortium Group will become a true partner of Gangwon Province by hiring local residents first, using existing programs for Gangwon region, and building new ones through the establishment of a global platform.
