The foundation of McKinley Country Club is not merely a tale of development—it is a story of enduring partnership, visionary foresight, and unwavering commitment to redefining urban living through golf and sustainability.
At the heart of this journey are two long-time business leaders: Mr. Halen Bach, CEO of McKinley Investment Group in the United States, and Mr. Alex Kim, CEO of McKinley Investment Group Philippines. Over the past 20 years, these two visionaries have collaborated on numerous international ventures, guided by a shared belief in excellence, integrity, and legacy.
Their most personal and ambitious project began over a decade ago, when they embarked on a journey across the Philippines and Southeast Asia. It was not merely about acquiring land—it was about identifying regions where their collective vision could take root and flourish. They sought to build more than a resort—they aspired to craft a blueprint for the city of the future: one where golf, technology, sustainability, and community converge.
This period of exploration and groundwork laid the cornerstone for what would become The Golf City.
